Description
- Identification of all requirements in requisition for purchase issued by E&C Department.
- Follow with Delivery Manager strategic relationships with suppliers, promoting commercial, sustainability, innovation, and performance initiatives.
- The Procurement Engineer intervene in receiving all the documents prepared by Engineering, Quality & HSE to start sourcing of suppliers.
- Maintain the BOQ with updates from suppliers until after awarding the contract.
- Receiving the price quotations. (Competitive quotes)
- Prepare CBE & TBE based on supplier response including deadline, price, mode of payment, Certificates.
- Work closely with Logistic Coordinator for the Export operation
- Reiterate with designers and suppliers for finalization of quantity and quality.
- Establish delivery terms, time and stages of inspection for the supply with Project Management Team.
- Procurement engineers also use their project management skills when working on individual procurement requests, as they need to track each request’s status and ensure that it is completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements.
- Negotiate the best payment terms and contract conditions
- Keep accurate records to justify the process and any other related decisions made in this regard
- Issuance of Purchase order.
- Tracking and expediting of Shipment.
